Kristao is one of the pioneer outlets along Heritage Row and the first restaurant-bar on the street
that specializes in Malaccan Portuguese cuisine. It's a very homey two-floor establishment with an
attractive series of wines, liquor, beers and cocktails to complete a very satisfying culinary experience.
Kristao also has the honour of having the longest happy hours around- from 11:00am to 9.00pm daily with
the kitchen staying open till 1 am with seating for up to 100 people.
The drinks and wine list is extensive, and includes wines from Portugal, something not commonly
found in these parts with suggestions on how to match the food with wines.
The chef is Malaccan-Portuguese and his specialties are authentic Malaccan Portuguese
Cuisine without MSG. Prices are reasonable and the menu changes from time to time to ensure
variety and originality and, it is complemented with an interesting selection of homemade
desserts from our kitchen. There's a good supper menu and the breakfast is no slacker either.
