Kuala Lumpur - The W Wine Room is back. Bigger, More Voluptuous and Sexy. The
place voted Best Wine Bar in Kuala Lumpur by KLUE Magazine in 2005, is now a
more spacious area with the same classy finish after closing its doors for an
expansion on the Asian Heritage Row. It still retains its Soho house feel with
its eclectic mix of furnishing and artifacts from different periods.
The theme of the re-opening night is W's signature theme of Gray, Red and White.
Ladies will be in red and the men in white collar as the dress code of the night.
Starting at 8.00pm, the night is kicking off with the resident band, the September
Band playing and entertaining the guests while the crowd enjoys the servings of finger
food, dessert and wine.
Loyal patrons of W Wine Room who love the place for its live performances while enjoying
the vivo, an array of performances has been lined up for the night accompanied by the
September Band featuring a list of notable artists. Billy, Donne Ray Radford, Leonard
Tan, Fadzilah Yusof, Janet Lee and DJ Garry T(www.garrytee.com.au)doing MoTown will be
revisiting the heydays of the 60's soul with talented live performances.
A nominee for the local equivalent of the Grammy's, AIM and also Anugerah ERA, Billy
is no stranger to W. Having belted out tunes with influences from Peabo Bryson and Luther
Vandross, Billy will be soothing the night with his soulful tunes. For the old soulful,
fans of Donnie Ray Radford from the Platters will be a sure to be hit with his line ups
of the famous Platters music. The man known as the Maestro of a Thousand Voices, Leonard
Tan is confident to leave the audience roaring with laughter. A newcomer to the music scene,
Fadzilah Yusof has previously performed with Llew Marsh doing numbers in Jazz, and R&B.
Wine Room is located on the first floor above Bisou cake house and provides a fine aerial
view from its two split levels of elevated outdoor seating. It is also the most stylish and
intimate lounge on the Asian Heritage Row for a good night out with great wine and good music.
